ZAHALKA leads art tour in Morocco

This 14 day tour will traverse a large part of southern Morocco from the ancient city of Marrakech, over the spectacular landscape of the Atlas Mountains to the northern edge of the vast Sahara at the Erg Chigaga dunes, returning via the ancient city of Taroudant and coastal port of Essaouira.

Participants will be able to observe one of Australia’s most professional and accomplished artists at work, learn new skills and develop their own unique photographic art portfolio of Moroccan contemporary life.

This unique tour will have a specific focus on Art Photography, takingtime to make considered responses to the culture and landscape on hand. Anne will be looking at other artists who have created images inspired by Morocco to gain a deeper insight into this remarkable place.Tableaux workshops using available light, setting up additional props and still-life with local models in traditional dress will aim to create collaborative and individual images and compositions responding to the culture of the Amazing people.
