COMMISSIONS
Anne’s vision and multi-disciplinary approach to the creation, execution, production and final form of the Work is discussed with her clients. A proposal is then developed to realise the brief through encapsulating the artist concept, research, approach, scope, timeline and budget. Photographs and documentation from each commission become part of the artist archive.
PUBLIC
Anne is commissioned by institutions and organisations to development large and small scale projects responding to pointed, complex briefs. The Works created are considered, informed, highly resolved and professionally produced for the multiple, public outcomes required.
Completed commissions include Parliament House at Work commemorating the 25th Anniversary of Parliament House, Canberra and Welcome to Sydney, a series of portraits depicting migrants for Sydney’s International Arrivals Terminal at Sydney Airport. The Innovators – collectors who shaped Sydney’s Avant-Garde, 1963 -1978 was a series of commissioned work for exhibition. Campaign poster for the Blacktown ‘Shooting Stars’ Basketball team fundraiser (2014). NGV Photos From Home, a project featuring photographers, whose work is in the NGV Collection, sharing their current lived experience, or a moment in time through images and words.
Anne’s commemorative portraits of for institutional display include Marilyn Darling OA for the National Portrait Gallery, Professor John Redmond, Dean of Faculty Art and Design Monash University (1998 -2010) and the Board and staff of the Centre for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne marking 25 years of the CCP to name a few.
